Anchovies dry fish fry/Nethili karuvadu varuval

Nethili karuvadu varuval is a very tasty and spicy dish that goes great with curd rice, rasam and sambar rice. This is a very simple receipe. And also you need only few ingredients to make this dish. I usually made this receipe once in a week, because my family loves this receipe very much. Let's see how to make this simple receipe.

Preparation time:10 minutes 
Cooking time :5 minutes 
Serves :2 to 3 

Ingredients :

  1. Nethili karuvadu/anchovies dry fish-100 gram
  2. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  3. Masala chili powder/kulambu milage thool- 2 tsp
  4. Salt- few
Method:

Step 1: First soak the dry fish in boiled water for 2 minutes. 

Step 2: Marinate the dry fish with turmeric powder, masala chili powder, small amount of salt for 10 minutes. 

Step 3: After 10 minutes, take a pan, heat 3 tsp of oil and add the marinated mixture. Cook till the dry fish turns crispy.switch off the stove and serve it with curd rice. 

Pictorial:
Add boiled water in dry fish and soak for 2 minutes. 

Now Marinate the dry fish with turmeric powder, masala chili powder and salt for 10 minutes. 

Take a pan, heat 3 tsp of oil and add the marination. Fry till the dry fish turns crispy. 

Serves it with curd rice or rasam rice.
