Parupu thovayal is a very simple receipe which goes great with rasam, variety rices and vegetable curry. It is also good for health because it has coconut, Toor dal, red chilli, garlic etc. This is also an authentic South Indian receipe. Whenever I made variety rices, I made this thovayal for my family. - Coconut - 3 stripes
- Toor dal- 1 hand full
- Red chili - 2
- Garlic-3 pallu
- Salt- as required
Method:
Step 1: First dry roast the Toor dal in a pan. Set aside.
Step 2: Take a blender, add coconut, red chilli, garlic, dry roasted Toor dal, and salt. Make a fine paste and serve with variety rice or rasam.
Note: For this receipe, we don't want to seasoning the thovayal. Because this is a healthy receipe, so no need to add oil or anything.
